Upon putting on a wooly hat, a Wassie suddenly believes it is the ultimate embodiment of style and charisma. They perceive themselves as the "coolest Wassies in the fridge," radiating an aura of self-assurance and confidence. However, this illusion of "chadness" is far from reality, as the wooly hat covering their eyes causes them to be far more vulnerable and clumsy than their fellow Wassies.
The self-absorbed nature of these wooly hat-wearing Wassies appear to follow the hat. When one of these Wassies meets its end, another nearby Wassie will quickly snatch the wooly hat from its expiring corpse and take on the role of the arrogant, self-centered individual. This cycle continues, as the inability to see while wearing the wooly hat appears to make each new wearer excessively self-indulgent. Thankfully, Wassies wearing wooly hats have even shorter lifespans than the average Wassie as they have a limited ability to feed themselves and other Wassies obviously have no desire to feed an annoying and self-indulgent Wassie.
Wooly hats are not only sought after for their perceived status but are sometimes also used to navigate the colder areas of the Wassie environment. The thick, warm fabric makes these hats a popular choice for Wassies venturing into the depths of the freezer or braving a journey into icy parts of the world.
