Wassiepedia is an independent community project. It's aim is to create a friendly and inclusive place where Wassie fans can express their boundless creativity. Wassiepedia was created in 2021, shortly after the launch of the Loomlock NFT project (AKA Wassies by Wassies).
A Catalyst for Creativity
Most people on seeing a Wassie are struck by what amazing characters they are. They are fantastic catalysts for stories, artwork, music and more. Wassiepedia is a place to collect that communal creativity and channel it for everyone to enjoy.
Know thy Wassie
One of our more significant projects is to document the backstory behind each and every Wassie in the various Wassie related collections. You can find these Wassie vignettes all tagged with wassies. We've made a start, but there is a long way to go...
Get Involved
Omnus is currently chief editor at Wassiepedia, aided by his faithful wassie Derp. But everyone is welcome to get involved! If you would like access as a contributor please send us a message and we can get you set up with access. We are also looking at other options for allowing participation (for example API submissions from other forums).
'Rules'
We'll stay rules light, but anyone contributing needs to be aware of some basic ground rules:
- No discrimination or hate speech, not even aimed at wassies.
- Keep it SFW and child friendly (we can consider a 'gated' area if this is too restrictive, but - seriously - these are wassies, what is it you have in mind??).
