The Long Wasser River is a major river on the micro-continent of Wassland. It bisects the country, running from the western mountains through the heart of Wassland and emptying into the Great Wass Sea. The river is over 100 miles long, making it the longest on the continent.
The source of the Long Wasser River are natural water catchment areas formed in the mountain range known as Mount Doom. From here, the river flows north-east, passing through the city of Wassietopia before continuing on its journey to the Great Wass Sea.
The fertile lands created by the Long Wasser River have allowed for the settlement of Wassietopia by its inhabitants, known as the Wassies. Despite their reputation for not being very intelligent, the Wassies were able to thrive and build a successful society in Wassietopia thanks to the abundance of natural resources provided by the river until The Annihilation Event.
The Outcasts have plans in place to build a dam on the Long Wasser River, likely closer to its source, in order to generate hydroelectric power necessary for advanced weapons research but further research is necessary in order to avoid any unforeseen flooding of Wassietopia.
