Crown (attribute)

At first glance, the regal-looking crown may dazzle onlookers and lead to the crowned Wassie developing feelings of authority, dominance, and superiority. However, behind all the glamor of the crown belies a curse upon the Wassie. The crown impairs the Wassie's vision by covering its eyes, making it almost impossible for it to move about. Its heavy weight significantly impacts mobility and its downward pointing extensions which poke into the Wassies beak and skin inflicts continuous and ongoing physical pain on the Wassie.

Thankfully, the curse is often short-lived. The shiny crown functions like a beacon for other covetous Wassies, who look to claim the crown for their own. As crowned Wassies are often not in position to resist, crowns are easily stolen off their heads, lifting their burden as the new owner gleefully dons the crown on its own head.
